Course of the Week: Prestwick Country Club
Prestwick Country Club is a Pete and P.B Dye design located in the heart of Myrtle Beach. Prestwick is a semi-private
club that has hosted numerous amateur tournaments as well as a U.S Open Qualifier. It features berms, deep pot bunkers and rolling greens. Golf Digest recently recognized it as “One of the Nation’s Five Best Kept Secret Golf Courses” and rates it at 4.5 stars out of 5. It is one of the tougher courses in Myrtle. It is an extremely well sculpted layout as one would expect with it being a Dye Course, the difference being Prestwick has water come into play quite often. So I would bring few balls.
