Nonstop Flights for 2019

Traveling to the Grand Strand for your golf getaway has never been so easy

Myrtle Beach International Airport makes a strong effort to help golfers get to the beach and onto the course as efficiently as possible. Whether traveling from a hub or a regional airport, there is a suitable flight plan to fit any group’s needs. Here are some notable options for 2019:

Spirit is set to resume seasonal service to and from Chicago-O’Hare, IL on March 14, Dallas/Fort Worth, TX on May 2, and Houston-Intercontinental, TX on May 3, three major connection hubs that groups looking to travel from the Midwest and West Coast should consider. The airline will provide nonstop service between Myrtle Beach and several regional locations also, including Latrobe, PA and Niagara Falls, NY (both resume February 15), as well as Hartford, CT (resumes March 15).

In addition, Allegiant’s expansion of its seasonal nonstop flights will service an extensive number of regional destinations like Columbus, OH (resumes April 4), Allentown, PA (resumes April 5), Lexington, KY (resumes May 16), Clarksburg, WV (resumes May 31), and Portsmouth, NH (resumes June 6).

On April 5, Frontier will restart service to and from Trenton, NJ and Islip, NY, to be followed by Philadelphia, PA on April 30 and Denver, CO on June 11—two additional connection hubs.

Other large airports with nonstop flights include Newark, NJ (United, resumes March 31), New York-La Guardia, NY (American, resumes June 8), Washington-National, DC (American, year-round), Boston, MA (Delta, resumes June 8), and Atlanta, GA (Delta, year-round).

For those looking to travel from Canada, Porter resumes its direct service to and from Toronto-City, Ontario on February 13. WestJet resumes direct flights to and from Toronto, Ontario April 29.

Also, Sun Country will restart nonstop flights between Myrtle Beach and Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN beginning on April 5.
